This Sunday evening at 6.00pm is our traditional Christmas Carol Service.  We will be following the pattern of the Nine Lessons and Carols, which has proved to be so popular in Britain over the last 100 years.  So the readings unfold the Christmas story from the need for humanity for salvation, the promise of a coming King and then the familiar story of the events around the birth of Jesus in Bethlehem.  The readings are interspersed by traditional Christmas carols for the congregation with a few special songs by the music group.  The whole church will be bathed in candlelight.
We may not be King’s College Cambridge – we don’t have the choir or the building – but we do aim to celebrate the Christmas story in the traditional manner.
All are welcome.
