As you may have heard The Archbishops of Canterbury and York are calling for Church of England churches to put public worship on hold and become a “different sort of church” in the coming months to face the challenge of coronavirus. see link below:

Therefore as recommended all services of public worship at St Saviour’s have been put on hold. The church will be open on Sunday Morning 11.00-12.00 for those who wish to come and pray but please follow the guidelines on washing hands and physical distancing.

The Wednesday evening Lent Course will go ahead however, in a slightly changed format for those who feel able to attend.

The Bishop of Sheffield is encouraging ‘meetings of small numbers of healthy Christians to pray in homes and even in church buildings, to feed on the Word of God, to share in Holy Communion, and to intercede for the nation’ and we encourage members of St Saviours to do so.
